The Decatur Art Guild is a community-based arts organization in Decatur, Alabama, built on a simple belief: art is for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner picking up a paintbrush for the first time, a hobbyist exploring new ideas, a seasoned artist, or someone who simply loves supporting the arts, the Guild welcomes you. No professional experience is required—just an interest in creativity and community.

Founded to support and celebrate local creativity, the Guild has been part of Decatur’s cultural landscape for decades. One of the Guild’s most visible and beloved roles is organizing the arts and crafts showcase at the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic. This long-standing partnership has helped make original art a key part of one of Decatur’s most iconic annual events. While visitors come for the breathtaking balloons, they also discover high-quality, handmade art—connecting artists with thousands of attendees from across the region.
